What do graphic design, sustainability, and social impact have in common? More than you might think. In the short course Responsible Design, you will learn how to apply sustainability strategies such as rethink, reduce, and recycle in your own design practice.

Think about considering the recyclability of your end product early in the design process. Or about making choices in the prepress stage that save paper and ink without compromising quality. But also consider viewing the contribution of graphic design to today’s challenges from a different perspective.

In addition to practical insights for the profession, the course offers food for thought about the future of the field. Meaningful reflection for every designer, editor, or publisher.

Practical Information

This class is part of the one-year Typography & Book course, but it can also be taken separately.
