Alex Feenstra

I

n this short course, we unveil the secrets behind creating a book, from digital concept to physical copy. Along the way, Alex Feenstra will guide you through the anatomy of the book, focusing on how choices in paper, printing, and binding shape the final experience of the book—both tactile and visual.

We explore how a design can range from bold to subtle and how this is translated into the materials of a book. Conversely, these choices also technically impact the digital design and color management.

This short course is essential for anyone looking to delve deeper into prepress and printing techniques.
