Starting in September 2024, the Plantin Institute of Typography will offer a completely renewed one-year program in Typography and Book Design.
Over the course of 26 Saturdays between September and June, a team of international experts will provide you with the theoretical and historical knowledge necessary for typography and book design. In addition, you will acquire the practical skills needed to successfully apply this knowledge in real-world scenarios. Quality is at the heart of the program, with course content aligned with current developments in the graphic design industry.
This module is the second trimester of that year-long course. It can be followed seperately.

These six Saturdays are included in the Plantin Program Typography & Book. The module constitutes the second trimester of the program, starting immediately after the autumn break. The classes are repeated annually.
It can be taken separately, provided you have experience with microtypography and the lessons taught in the first trimester.
Basic knowledge of InDesign is needed.
No intake interview is required.
Tuition Fee: € 900.
Discounts are available if you combine multiple course components within the same year.
