The journey from a flat printed sheet to a folded section, and from a stack of sections to a finished book, is truly fascinating. In just half a day, you will learn about the advantages and disadvantages of the most commonly used binding methods.

Everyone ideally wants a book that stays open beautifully, but achieving this requires the right adhesives and industrial binding techniques. Your choice of paper also plays a crucial role.

In this short course, you will learn key industry terms, enabling you to communicate confidently with bookbinders.

To bring these concepts to life, we will visit a printing house and a bindery on Monday, December 16, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

This short course is best taken alongside Anatomy of the Book and Prepress.
