Starting in September 2024, the Plantin Institute of Typography will offer a completely renewed one-year program in Typography and Book Design.
Over the course of 26 Saturdays between September and June, a team of international experts will provide you with the theoretical and historical knowledge necessary for typography and book design. In addition, you will acquire the practical skills needed to successfully apply this knowledge in real-world scenarios. Quality is at the heart of the program, with course content aligned with current developments in the graphic design industry.
This module is the first trimester of the year-long program. It can be taken separately.

These six Saturdays are included in the Plantin Program Typography & Book. The module is the beginning of the program and can easily be taken separately. We repeat this every year.
To get the most out of the course, it’s best to have a basic knowledge of InDesign.
No intake interview is required.
Tuition Fee: € 900.
Discounts are available if you combine multiple course components within the same year.
