Starting in September 2024, the Plantin Institute of Typography will offer a completely renewed one-year program in Typography and Book Design.
Over the course of 26 Saturdays between September and June, a team of international experts will provide you with the theoretical and historical knowledge necessary for typography and book design. In addition, you will acquire the practical skills needed to successfully apply this knowledge in real-world scenarios. Quality is at the heart of the program, with course content aligned with current developments in the graphic design industry.
This module is part of the final trimester of the year-long program. It can be taken separately.

These twelve Saturdays are included in the Plantin Program Typography & Book. The module constitutes the third trimester of the program, starting after the Christmas break. The classes are repeated annually.
This course component can be taken separately, provided you have sufficient experience. To assess your skills, knowledge, and learning goals, we will conduct an intake interview (by phone). We will schedule an appointment with you for this interview. If you prefer, you can also attend our Open Day.
Tuition Fee: € 1350.
Discounts are available if you combine multiple course components within the same year.
